We started off our week with preparations for our first in-school birthday party for our friend Talia. We really got into it with decorating a birthday hat and a birthday card. We even baked a cake which we all really enjoyed. The best of all of course was the birthday celebration. We sang and danced and enjoyed everyones company!
Rosh Hashanah:
We continued learning about the holiday through new manipulative trays. One our our favorites this week was making play dough apples for the apple trees.
We made honey jars and loved lacing Rosh Hashanah shapes. It was a little challenging at first, but we are fast learners and quickly got the hang of it.
We also measured how tall we were using apples.
