First Week of School!

Dear Parents,

This first week of school has been a great opportunity for all the teachers and students to start building a foundation of trust to have a successful school year. Exploring new environments and establishing new routines can be scary and take some getting used to. Entering this new journey with love and patience for all is key to success.

Our friends were introduced to our classroom pet, Trevor the guinea pig, and they loved him! Feeding him hay daily and giving him gentle pets gave our friends a sense of pride and ownership that later blooms to self-confidence. Please feel free to pack any fresh vegetables for a "Trevor snack" your child can give in the morning. Romaine lettuce, spinach, and cucumber are a few favorites.

Learning where all the materials go and where each center is and making sure everyone feels loved and safe are our main goals for the next couple weeks. We will also start dance with Miss Lisa and that will continue every Wednesday for a 30 minute class. Thank you for understanding and trusting us to guide your little ones.

Shabbat Shalom!
