This we continued to implement Shabbat concepts in our provocations and play. Here are some highlights of our week.

Corks and purple paint to resemble kiddish was set out to make grape juice paintings.

Can you braid a challah?

This week we had intended to introduce braiding challah with play dough. Our friends had a different plan. Small loose parts from another area if the room made their way over to our play dough table to add detail to some freinds' challah sculptures.

 

Let's build a candle.

The children used tan-gram shapes to match and create their own Shabbat candlesticks.

 

How tall can you stack?

A few friends started the process of creating their own beautiful candle holders that they can use every Shabbat. One friend stacked 15 tiles high and another stacked 9 tiles high!
