Dear Parents,
Here are some highlights of the week as we continue exploring Fall and Thanksgiving/gratitude:

                                                          Nature Display
We set out mirrors, acorn squash, pine cones, and leaves with magnifying glasses.  Our friends were invited to explore with their senses.   Playing and exploring with mirrors has proven to be an invaluable learning tool for children.  They learn about reflection and gain more self- awareness while doing activities in front of a mirror.  Our friends also explored different angles and dimensions.

                                                             Dramatic play- Table Setting
In conjunction with our Thanksgiving unit we created table setting place mats to guide the children in the correct way to set the table.  This activity fosters matching skills and visual discrimination.

                                                               Group project
This week our friends worked on their annual gratitude project.  The morahs asked each child what they were thankful for.  They all had some really amazing answers, we can't wait to share them with you next week!

Our friends also enjoyed getting introduced to cutting paper, juicing their own juice, making bracelets, and doing a number counting activity, learning about this week's parsha, Chayei Sara.

Thanks for another great week.  We are looking forward to spending time with you all at our annual Thanksgiving lunch next Wednesday.  Wishing you a restful Shabbos,
                                              Morah Felicia and Morah Briele
