Welcome back families and friends! We hope you all enjoyed your Pesach break. This week we focused on settling into the daily routine.
Loose parts play
The children have really enjoyed playing with cups in our block center. They had endless fun turning these ordinary plastic ups into huge towers that they could knock down, train tracks for their trains to go through, pins to race down the slide in loft, wearing them on their arms and becoming "Stormtroopers" These cups provided great opportunities for the children to not only use their imaginations but also to problem solve, work and play together.
Art
This week we worked with clay, painted with shaving cream and water colors. Our friends love to get messy and experience the different textures of the clay and shaving cream. They used words like "squishy" and "slimy" to describe what they were feeling.
We are looking forward to Morah menucha coming back on monday.
